Hi everyone Smile - I would like to say something about posting on the forum. Firstly, it is very difficult to get across exactly what you want to say and in the right way. To me, it is like texting. There is no intonation in the voice so things can be misconstrued e.g. "Do you know what time it is?" It could be a question, a statement, it could be said in anger, concern etc. Do you get my point? I think everyone on the forum wants to say something to help and it isn't always easy to find the words. What can you say to someone who is at their wit's end and in constant pain? Nevertheless, we have to say something when all we really want to do is hug someone. Unfortunately, words are all we have on the forum and I think that whatever anyone says, it is well meant. This isn't aimed at anyone else, only myself because right now I feel so sorry for anyone who is in pain especially now, at Christmas and anything I say just seems so inadequate. Sorry for rambling on but I think we probably all feel the same. 'words are not enough but they are all we have'. God bless you all.

Love Sheila xxx

Couldn't agree more, Sheila. It's sometimes almost impossible to express how you feel even face to face, so how much more so on line? I think most of the folk on here understand where you are coming from.

Have a lovely Christnas

Lots of love

Hi Sheila,

I think you've put what we all feel just perfectly.

It's great that we have each others support no matter what words we use.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful, peaceful Christmas.

Hi Sheila
I agree, it is very hard when just using words. I find it really hard wording things. But hopefully we all know that everyone is writing on here with the best intentions and we do all know roughly where everyone is coming from. I have had such a lot of encouragement to keep going from everyone on here.
So I all wish you a best as possible Christmas.
and to you Sheila thanks for all your encouragement.
lots of love
Anne xxxx Smile

Hi Sheila,
it is so true what you said, words are all we have and I know I've struggled a few times to find what I want to say, when all you want to do is reach out and hug gently. thank you for that.

Absolutely Sheila and beautifully wordedSmile

I sometimes worry also that people can be in great distress and there appears to be little response to their posts and much response to others and how that might feel. Of course it is hard to respond to everyone all the time, but please know that my thoughts are with you all and I'm hoping that this time of year will bring some warmth and joy to counter the pain and fear that comes with illness.

Wishing you all a wonderful time this Christmas holiday and hope it doesnt take too much out of you either.
Happy New Year to you all!BigGrin

Love Lizx
